A Polish TV reporter has been detained in Thailand for using a drone to film the rescue of the young football team trapped in a cave.
According to the Press Gazette, police arrested Wojciech Bojanowski, who works for major Polish media outlet TVN24.PL, while he was reportedly still operating the drone.
Media reports in Poland said it was unclear what offence the reporter may have committed or what any punishment might be.
All 12 boys and their coach have now been rescued following several delicate and dangerous operations carried out by an international team of divers and support crew.
They were trapped for more than two weeks in a developing story which saw swarms of local and international media descend on the Tham Luang cave system in Chiang Rai Province.
Media were kept well away from the cave entrance as the boys were brought out and placed in helicopters.
In an attempt to capture images, Bojanowski is believed to have used a drone.
One picture show the journalist being led away by police while another shows a drone in the sky.
A spokesman for TVN24.PL confirmed they had not been able to contact Bojanowski, who has worked for the TV station for 10 years.
He had been covering the story since 23 June.
