Anita Patrickson is everywhere. Raised in South Africa, educated in London, and now splitting her life between New York and L.A., she’s been to India, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Iceland, Brazil, Morocco, Mexico and Switzerland in the past six months alone. Her Instagram is a flurry of safari Jeeps, perfect beaches, and Hockney-esque poolscapes, along with red carpet shots of the celebrities she works with as a stylist (she’s dressed Emma Watson, Julianne Hough, Chanel Iman, Nina Dobrevn and Eiza Gonzalez, to name a few). Patrickson is also the founder and CEO of Amanu, a bespoke sandal company that will put together the perfect made-to-measure vacation shoe for you in under 30 minutes at their L.A boutique. So how does she pack her suitcase for all that travel? And what useful tips has she picked up along the way? Well, that’s exactly what we asked her.
