Family fun fest and live music with a Night At The Brits in Cleethorpes

Fancy a night at the Brits… well as close as you might get to it?

The Beachcomber in Cleethorpes has a super day of family entertainment taking place – with a variety of tribute acts performing throughout the day.

The event is split between a Family Fun Fest with top tributes to Little Mix and Olly Murs – with lots of fun, games and prizes to be won. There will also be a meet and greet along with a performance from Mayfair School Of Dance ‘Greatest Showman’.

Later on in the evening, there will be A Night At The Brits, featuring live music from tribute acts to Adele, Spice Girls and Olly Murs.

Both events take place on Saturday, July 28 – with the Family Fun Fest from 2pm, priced £4 entry on the door (with under 3s free). The Night at The Brits is strictly for 18+ over and is general admission entry at £10 (£15 VIP balcony), from 7pm.

About the acts

Almost Adele will see Holly performing as Adele, which she has done since early 2012. Holly has entertained a wide variety of audiences across the country, performing shows at music venues, hotels and festivals.

Only Olly will see James take to the stage as Olly Murs. He has taken part in many local talent shows from Grimsby, to national level on BBC One’s The Saturday show in 2003.

James studied dance and performing arts at the Grimsby Institute after leaving school and by the age of 17, he undertook a season of performing in Cornwall, followed by a year at Coastfields, Skegness where he trod the boards in a variety of production shows.

The following year James was lucky enough to be spotted by Bourne Leisure which gave him the opportunity to work at Minehead Butlins resort. During this time James starred alongside acts such as The Saturdays, the Sugababes as well as previous X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent contestants.

James performs as Olly Murs

In 2010, James took to the road with Beautiful World, singing the music of Take That, supporting acts such as Peter Andre and Jason Donovan on their arena tours. Following the success of this, James found himself in Tenerife at the 5 star Sensatori Resort for the summer of 2011 and 2012, as part of a variety of productions showcasing genres from musical theatre to rock and roll.

James flew to Hamburg to join the cast of Take That Live reprising his previous role, performing alongside a range of other acts within the Weihnachtsfeierzauber big top arena’s to great acclaim each evening.

In 2012 he made his debut as ‘Only Olly’, performing at a wealth of venues to audiences on a nightly basis.James also writes and records his own music and is one of BBC Introducing’s featured artists with his own tracks, available on iTunes.

Only Olly has recently been nominated for a National Tribute Music Award for ‘Best Olly Murs Tribute’.
