Crews work swift water rescues on northwest side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) –

First responders worked several swift water rescues on the northwest side of Tucson Tuesday afternoon.

The Northwest Fire Department said it has responded to rescue calls all over the district.

The flooding came as a strong Monsoon storm rolled through the area. Also on Tuesday, a train derailed near Twin Peaks Road and several roads were closed.
