Earlier this month the first official pictures of Captain Marvel landed via Entertainment Weekly.
The 1990s-set Avengers Infinity War prequel is the next MCU movie to be released, but not until March 2018.
With Ant-Man and the Wasp out the way fans are eagerly awaiting the first Captain Marvel trailer.
And now it looks like the teaser will drop as early as next week.
MCU Cosmic reports that a document that’s been leaked with information on the Captain Marvel drop is indeed real.
And so it’s believed that the first teaser will debut on Good Morning America on Tuesday September 18th.
The outlet added: “It does not look as if Brie Larson will appear in-person on the show, but will instead appear via satellite from another location.
“If the Tuesday debut sticks, there will likely be some kind of tease before so it won’t be a surprise drop on the show.”
Captain Marvel sees the return of Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury and Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson.
Both actors have been digitally deaged to how they looked around 25 years ago.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, he said: “There was something really special about going back to the early days when he was just kind of coming up the ranks.”
Gregg added: “I had to take innocence workshops and go back to when he was a little less crusty and jaded!
“He’s a relatively new S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who is obsessed with MC Hammer and dresses just like him, and it makes Director Fury so angry.
“The genie pants don’t really go with the Armani.”
Captain Marvel is released in UK cinemas on March 8, 2019.
